Born on the 29th of January 1988, Mircea Ivan has an early contact with electronic music. He organizes high-school parties for his friends and becomes the first resident of a local club in Bucharest – “Opium”. At the age of 18 he « shakes » his university prom, playing at the biggest club in Romania – “Kristal Glam Club”. The event was a huge success, so Mircea is encouraged to promote his style (a unique blend of techno and house with progressive flavors) onto the next gigs in Posh, Gossip, Bellagio, Fuchsia or Studio Martin. The energy of his sets is fantastic, therefore Ivan can be easily distinguished amongst Romanian DJs. Although Mircea Ivan is in early stages of afirmation, he has managed to play with premium djs like Rosario Internullo, Raoul Russu, Roby, Emil Lassaria or Vali Barbulescu. At every party, the crowd was « electrified » till morning. The cause ? A high quality combination between passion and talent. The DJ also spends a lot of time in the studio, composing tracks and remixing. His work manages to transform his gigs into real shows, so Mircea Ivan is for sure a must see of the Romanian clubbing scene.
